If we consider the top three motorcycle manufacturing company in the world, Yamaha should be one of them as one of the oldest also. They used to launch different segments motorcycle in different countries in the world where in Bangladesh, the demand of Yamaha bikes are almost high. They also dominate Bangladeshi market by their latst products but their price is comparatively higher than any brands here. In every year or once in every two years, they used to release an update version of their products or used to release complete new products. At the end of 2016, they released one of the top sports bike in Bangladesh named Yamaha M – Slaz 150 naked edition. Being a naked edition, it’s price is too much high but if we consider the technologies of this beast, the price seems almost perfect. However, Yamaha M – Slaz is regarded as one of the best creation in 150cc segment and it’s popularity is increasing day by day.

Design & looks: Considering the design of the machine, M – Slaz has fulfilled all the demands of sports category. Design is one of the most important fact of sports bike to impress young generations. However, M – Slaz 150 consists of muscular naked fuel tank which is well shaped with highly attractive seating position. Besides, the size of the bike is also fantastic and perfect for the riders.

Engine performance: The engine is regarded as the heart of motorcycle which should be good. In M – SLaz, company has used the most powerful engine than regular motorcycle which consists of 149 cc displacement, four valve, SOHC. Besides, it’s BHP is 16.8 which is greater than most of the bikes in Bangladesh which can produce 15 Nm @ 7500 rpm torque. However, the ignition system is TCI along with fuel injection carburetor. Like the most sports motorcycles, it has liquid cooled system.

Dimensions & seating position: Dimension of the bike is completely perfect for sports motorcycle where the length, width and height is 1955 * 795 * 1065 mm respectively. Though, the bike is bit low due to sporty looks but ground clearance is 164 mm along with 1350 mm wheelbase. The seat height of this motorcycle is 805 mm which consists of two parts. There is a space for carrying just one pillion. The kerb weight of this beat is 135 kg which is bit low for 150 cc segment bikes but as sports bike, it’s body kits are well designed which can pass air well in high speed.

Suspension & Brakes: The suspensions of the bike is very good and comfortable where telescopic fork is used for front and for rear swing arm monoshock suspension is used. Both are special quality suspensions and due to that the riders of this beast could not face any pain on different types of road. Besides, it’s tyres are wider than any sports bike in Bangladesh which used to help to keep balance well and also gives enough facility in cornering. Besides, one of the beat braking system is installed in this bike which consists of double disc brakes. So, the riders can able to control the bike within short notice.

Mileage: The average mileage of this machine is 40 km which used to increase in long run on highway but in the city, it could reduce a little.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of M – Slaz is completely digital with digital speedometer and digital tachometer. Besides, it has maintenance free YTZ4V 3.0 Ah 12V battery with LED head and tail light. Excluding this pass light, low battery indicator, kill switch and some other features.

Colors & Price: The current price of the beast is BDT 425,000 according to last update and total four colors of this bike is available in Bangladesh named Red, Black, Blue with white combination, Silver with green combination. But this motorcycle isn’t officially launched by the authorized distributor ACI Motors Ltd. yet. But you may find in some showroom in Bangla motor those are importing by some other importers.
