If we consider the category of Yamaha motorcycles in Bangladesh, their official distributor used to launch naked sports, faired sports and standard category bikes in the country. They have to lack in a couple of sectors still such as cruiser and dirt or off-road category bikes. But now, Yamaha Bangladesh or ACI Motors is planning to reveal a dirt category bike here and already a number of the dirt bikes of Yamaha have imported here for test riding. Some bikers teams already started to take a test drive of the bikes. They are planning to launch Yamaha XTZ in Bangladesh which is basically a 125 cc off-road bike. It has a very powerful, strong and reliable engine suitable enough for the rough road. Earlier there are only but a couple of companies like Kawasaki and other Chinese brands have launched their off-road bikes in Bangladesh but due to very higher price tags, the bikes have become very low demanded till now. Hopefully, Yamaha would not make the same mistake and will keep the price range within the range of the general people. Today we are going to talk about the details specifications of the bike Yamaha XTZ 125 and let’s see them below.

Design & looks: Yamaha XTZ is a very attractive looking off-road bike that has spoken wheels instead of the latest alloy wheels. It has a very strong and measured body design with a long and comfortable seating position. It has a very small but well shades fuel tank with attractive body graphics attached. It has a strong and reliable grab rail with a wide rear end. The headlamp is also attractive. Considering the looks, it can beat any dirt bikes available in Bangladesh.

Engine performance: Yamaha XTZ is powered by a 125 cc engine that can generate 9.2 kW max power and 11.6 Nm max torque. The engine is air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC and two valves added. It has both electric and kick-starting system added. Due to a reliable and powerful engine, the bike can make more than 100 km/h top speed so far.

Dimensions & seating position: The bike Yamaha XTZ is pretty long comparatively other off-road bikes. It is 1090 mm long, 830 mm wide and 1115 mm high. The minimum ground clearance is 260 mm and it has 840 mm seat height. The kerb weight of the bike is 118 kg and due to that, it would be easy to handle. The seat is quite long and comfortable where a pillion can ride easily.

Suspension & Brakes: The bike has very reliable suspensions added. The front suspension is a telescopic fork and rear suspension is a rocker arm. The frame is a diamond type. However, it has a very good braking system. The front brake is the hydraulic disc which is 220 mm and the rear brake is 130 mm drum. Due to very high-quality suspensions, it would give better comfort and security during rough road riding.

Mileage: The bike yet to available in Bangladesh and so, we do not know about the mileage of the bike. But considering the engine quality and configuration, the bike would give more than 45 km average mileage hopefully. If the bike would give better mileage, the demand for the bike would increase within a very short time.

Instrument Panel & Features: The bike has average front features added. It has a speedometer, rpm meter, fuel gauge, pass light, turn lamp and tail lamp added.

Colors & Price: The bike Yamaha XTZ 125 would be available with different colors but now, we can say about four different shades. They are Black with Blue, Black with White, Black with Orange and full Black. The price of this off-road motorcycle is 325,000/- (BDT) in Bangladesh.
