Aprilia FX 150 Feature Review
Aprilia is a renowned motorcycle manufacturing company that is an Italian-origin brand. Their products used to participate in every season of the MotoGP competition since the beginning and their brand. Due to famous and expensive products, their bikes are not available in many countries including Bangladesh. But in the year 2017, a product of Aprilia has launched in Bangladesh which is known as Aprilia RS4 125. But recently Runner Automobiles LTD started to import Aprilia’s motorcycles in Bangladesh and they also become the sole distributor.
Aprilia FX 150 is a commuter motorcycle. There is a huge demand for commuter motorcycles in Bangladesh and 150cc is also the most selling segment.
Design & looks: Aprilia FX 150 doesn’t have an attractive look and appearance. It comes with a basic commuter design. The halogen headlight unit gets a small black windshield. The curvy fuel tank is mounted with a front extension kit. But these extension kits are designed like the engine cowl. There is also a stylish pillion grabrail for the pillion.
Engine performance: We didn’t satisfy with its engine powertrain. As a 150cc standard commuter bike, the engine power is too low. Even a 125cc motorcycle got a better powertrain than this bike. This two-wheeler is equipped with a single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, EFI, 149.2cc engine and it can produce 10.46 Bhp maximum power at 8000 rpm and 11.5 Nm torque at 5500 rpm. But the most attractive part is its EFI engine. It would be the lowest-budgeted EFI motorcycle available in Bangladesh. A 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch are used for better and smooth transmission. The top speed would be around 110 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: This one is similar to the other commuter motorcycle. The overall length of this bike is 2030 mm, width 760 mm, Height 1050 mm, Seat height 760 mm and the standard ground clearance is 165 mm. The seating and riding position are also standard. Aprilia uses a 3-part clip-on handlebar and a single stare seat. For city commuting, it would be a perfect bike.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic Fork Type suspension is used for the front end and twin-shock absorber for the rear. This bike gets Tubular Frame chassis. It will provide good balance and comfort. 240 mm disc in the front and 130 mm drum brake used in the rear wheel. There will be no CBS/ABS braking system on it.
Mileage: There will be no doubt about its mileage. This two-wheeler delivers mileage close to 45 km/L. On the highway, it will provide almost 47 km/L. This bike has a fuel injection system and can give better efficiency.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument cluster is semi-digital. The tachometer is analog, but the other features like the speedometer, trip meter, odometer, and fuel gauge are digital.
Colors & Price: The current market price of this bike is 155,000/- BDT. There are two colors available in the market, those are White and Black.
