Hero Glamour Overall Review
Hero MotoCorp is one of the leading motorcycle manufacturing companies in India which used to launch their product in the Indian subcontinent including Bangladesh. The hero is one of the top popular and trustworthy brands in Bangladesh as well which entered the Bangladeshi market first a long time ago with Honda company. Then it was known as Hero Honda. By separating from Honda, Hero re-entered the market in 2011 and launched one old product with a new name. The product is Hero Glamour which is a 125 cc standard category commuter bike. Among 125 cc available motorcycles in Bangladesh, Hero Glamour is one of the most popular bikes where Hero used their latest technology to build it. Due to the strong engine and gorgeous outlook, Hero Glamour has won the heart of riders in the country. Let’s have a glance at the details of the Hero Glamour motorcycle.
Design & looks: The design and style of the bike are very well which is somewhat changed from the older version. Now the front portion of Glamour is more stylish. Besides, though it is a 125 cc bike some kits are also added on both sides of the fuel tank which gives it a simple sports look. However, it is featured with a sleek cowl and tinted visor. Most of all, the new model of Hero Glamour is painted with a gorgeous color combination where the alloy wheels, front leg guard, engine, and silencer are completely black in color. Though, it changed after leaving Honda but still could not match with the rivals Discover 125 which is recently launched. But one thing is completely true Hero Glamour is now better than before.
Engine performance: The updated model of the Hero Glamour engine is consisting of a 124.7 cc engine which is also available with the latest carburetor and fuel injection technology. Besides, it is an air-cooled technology including, a four-stroke and OHC engine which can produce 9 Bhp @ 7000 rpm max power with 10.35 Nm @ 4000 rpm max torque. A tubular double cradle type frame is used for the bike which has DC digital CDI with a TCIS ignition system. Bore is less than stroke where the bore is 52.4 mm and stroke is 57.8 mm.
Dimensions & seating position: The motorcycle contains a good body appearance which has a really good dimension. The bike is not so large and also not so small. The length is 2005 mm, width is 735 mm and height is 1070 mm. The seating position is too good and large enough to carry three passengers. Besides, the wheelbase is comparatively longer and has good ground clearance.
Suspension & Brakes: Brake and suspensions of a bike are regarded as the most important things which can provide comfort and safety and also can provide trouble. In that case, Hero Glamour is one step ahead. Hero used telescopic hydraulic shock absorber suspension for the front wheel and a swing arm with hydraulic shock absorber suspension is used for the rear wheel which can provide great comfort. On the other hand, the braking system consists of a front disc and rear drum brake which can guarantee safety.
Mileage: Fuel efficiency is the best fact of Hero Glamour where in a city the bike can give almost 60 km mileage which will go up to 70 km on the highway. So, the average mileage of the bike is more than 65 km which can fill up the expectation of the riders.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument console of Hero Glamour is almost analog where an analog speedometer and analog tachometer are included. But the fuel gauge is digital and there is a low fuel indicator system that is included. The hero needs to digitize its instrument panel.
Colors & Price: The current price of the machine is BDT 145,000/- which is available in four different colors in Bangladesh named Candy Blazing Red, Black with Sports Red, and Black with Tornado Grey Metallic.

Hero Glamor’s salient feature is its better millage and wide enough seat that offers comfortable seating to rider. As a commuter bike it looks nice. I must recommend others to think about Glamor because its value for money. <3
