Though there are some Japanese brand’s products that are also available which demands are heavy but for comparatively higher price tags, people used to buy their products few. But there is no question about the quality of their products. There are top three Japanese brands in Bangladesh which are Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. There are few numbers of scooters of these three brands that are available in the market but the price range is higher. However, according to the latest news, Honda is going to release a new scooter within a reasonable price which would make it more acceptable to the customers. The name of the product is Honda Dio.

Honda Dio would be available in the market of Bangladesh soon. According to the reliable source, the price of the scooter would be reasonable. However, people of Bangladesh used to select scooters as the second choice and except in great need, males do not want to use it. So, the major customers of the scooters are female. Females are using scooters for a different reason where some of them are using it for a job and some are for college or university. Honda Dio is a good looking and stylish scooter which is already launched in India. Though, a long time ago in 1988, it was introduced in Japan. Design & looks: The design of the Honda Dio is completely impressive. It was a stylish handlebar with a unique rearview mirror. The seating position is comfortable and also stylish. Though, it is pretty small. The headlamp is also attractive and latest in design. There are a pillion grabrail and black color silencer pipe. The scooter is available with different attractive shades and unique body graphics. Besides, the tubeless small tires are very beautiful. Engine performance: The scooter Honda Dio consists of 109.20 cc displacement, four-stroke and SI engine which has air-cooled technology included. The max power is 8 Bhp @ 7000 rpm and max torque is 8.91 @ 5500 rpm. The combination of power and torque, it’s speed is quite good. In 10.8 seconds, it can make 0 to 60 km speed and the top speed is 83 km per hour reportedly.

Dimensions & seating position: The scooter Honda Dio looks pretty small in length which is 1781 mm. The width of the scooter is 710 mm and the height is 1133 mm. Besides, it has a good ground clearance of 158 mm. However, the seat height of the Dio is 765 mm. Though it seems smaller but considering the weight, it has a completely perfect shape. The weight of the scooter is 105 kg. The seat is not so long but carry two persons easily. According to the dimension and body design, it would be perfect for female especially.

Suspension & Brakes: Honda Dio has good quality suspensions on both wheels and both are the same. On each side, spring-loaded hydraulic-type suspension is used for both sides. The suspensions would provide great comfort to the riders. However, the braking system is good but drum brakes. They also do not use any hydraulic disc brake but considering the segment, it would be enough to control the speed of the scooter. The front and rear tyre of the scooter is the same which is 90/100 – 10.

Mileage: The mileage of the scooter Honda Dio is confusing. It should provide more than 50 km mileage average but according to the company and some sites, it’s average mileage would be 45 km. 45 km mileage is not bad but the users of scooters in the country would buy a scooter to save cost and in that case, they desire more mileage.
