Honda SP 125 Features Review
Honda is the most prominent Japanese motorcycle brand and has popularity all over the world. Honda manufactures various motorcycles and scooters. Honda is famous in Bangladesh for high-performing fuel-efficiency motorcycles. Honda’s commuter bikes Dream, Livo, and CP Shine are some popular models, Honda has added SP 125 to this lineup. Being a commuter bike Honda SP 125 offers a long listed features for the first time in this segment. Honda SP equipped PGM fuel-injected engine that also maintain BS6 for the first time. As a modern bike Honda SP 125 features the latest technology to enrich the bike, it full LED DC headlamp design and 5-spoke spilt alloy wheels add sporty dimension. The digital console provides essential features including ECO indicator, Gear Position, Service Reminder, Realtime Mileage, Trip, Clock, On-Board Diagnostic light, and so on. In order to ensure proper safety and effective breaking Honda SP features CBS (Combi Brake System) which activates both brakes by pressing foot pedal only, leading to the most effective & stable braking. Honda SP 125 is a fuel-efficiency and advanced bike considering it price and performance.
Design and looks: Honda SP 125 is quite unique and compact bike that can’t be similar with others. Honda SP 125 has been designed front different artistic points of view. Honda SP 125 comes with sporty design, muscular fuel tank with extensions, sharp and cutting-edge bodywork with new colors and graphics. Its comes with a new face of full LED headlamp and tail section, both LED lamps add a new dimension to Honda SP 125. Fully digital console helps rider by displaying the distance to empty, trip meters, gear shifting, and fuel gauge. It also has an integrated engine off/on switch on the right handlebar first in this segment. Its dual color graphics and bulky body structure enhance its intensity.
Engine performance: Honda SP 125 gets a newly adopted 125 cc 4 stork air-cooled, BS-VI engine with PGM fuel-injected system. This refined engine generates 10.8 PS @ 7500 rpm of max power and 10.9 Nm @ 6000 rpm of max torque, at the same time it can touch 100 km/h top speed. The PGM FI offers an optimized fuel supply to the engine and minimizes fuel consumption leading to better mileage. Honda SP 125 is the segment-first motorcycle that features BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) which reduces carbon from the atmosphere and helps to secure a safe and conform environment for the flora and fauna. As a daily commuting bike, Honda SP 125 is the best from fuel efficiency, technology, and premium stylish sense. Honda SP 125 features a silent ACG (alternate current generator) starter to avoid cranking sound.
Dimension and seating position: Honda SP 125 is a compact bike that is well-proportioned and has outstanding dimensions of 2020 mm in length, 785 mm in width, 1103 mm in height. Its 790 mm seat height and 160 mm ground clearance are quite comfortable for all riders. It has large fuel tank that contains 11 liters of fuel get rid of frequent refueling and assists in long drive. Honda SP 125 is not so heavy not so light, its overall kerb weight is 116 kg so none can hassle with it. Honda SP 125 is equipped with 80/100-18 47P front and 100/80-18 53 P rear both tubeless tires, its overall wheelbase is 1285 mm.
Suspension & Brakes: Honda SP 125 is equipped with a standard telescopic front fork, and 5-step adjustable twin rear shocks as similar as Honda CB Shine. This suspension setup is comfortable for urban and light rough road. Rider and pillion will get a satisfactory performance as segment-wise. Moving on to braking segment, Honda introduced CBS (Combi Brake System) which activates both brakes by pressing foot pedal only, leading to most effective & stable braking. This advanced braking system works perfectly with 130 mm front drum and 240 mm rear disc, the overall braking configuration ensure more stable and balanced brake and provides extra confidence during an emergency situation.
Mileage: Honda SP 125 is a fuel-efficiency commuter bike, its fuel-injected fuel supply feature tremendously improved fuel efficiency. Honda claims that new SP 125 provides approximately 68 km/h millage, it may vary in case of road condition.
