Keeway has started to launch its product in Bangladesh since a few years ago. Though the products of Keeway are assembled and made in China the brand is not the origin of there. It has come from Hungary which means, the company is the origin of Hungary. It started their journey in Hungary in 1999 and back then, their aim was different. However, currently, their products are available in more than 80 countries in the world. Among them, the demand for Keeway products is getting heavier every day.

There are various models of Keeway products are available in Bangladesh right now where some of the sports, some are scooters and some are standard category products. They are also divided into different segments like 150 cc, 125 ccs, 100 ccs, etc. Today, we talk about one of their 125 cc product named Keeway RKS 125. They product RKS 125 has come with a sports category which used to compete with rest 125 cc bikes in Bangladesh. Though it is claimed as a sports category generally it is regarded as a standard category bike. Like the young generation, all aged people would fit with the bike. Let’s check the details of Keeway 125 below.

Design & looks: By considering the 125 cc segment, Keeway RKS 125 would be great at first sight. The nicely standard and little sporty design of the bike is so good. The fuel tank is a bit sporty along with the seating position. Besides, it has a sharp and aggressive engine guard like it’s ender sibling RKS 150. The latest alloy wheel technology is used to the bike with the perfect placed handlebar. There is also a pillion grabrail that is added to the bike. Consider the rest 125 cc available bikes in the country, RKS 125 would be one of the best looks bike no doubt.

Engine performance: The engine of RKS 125 is almost powerful which consists of 124.5 cc displacement. However, the cooling system of the engine is air-cooled which also has four-stroke, 2 – valve and SOHC systems included. However, the max power of the bike is 11.2 Bhp @ 9000 rpm and the max torque is 9.2 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The only electric starting method is added to the bike and the kicking system is reduced. The TLI ignition system of the bike and five-speed gearbox makes the top speed better. It can provide more than 100 km per hour’s highest speed.

Dimensions & seating position: The bike Keeway RKS 125 is well measured where the length, width, and height are completely standard. Due to the better dimension, it’s controlling is also good. Amateur riders also able to control it easily. Its length is 2040 mm, width is 780 mm and height is 1070 mm. Besides, the wheelbase of the bike is 1260 mm along with 185 mm ground clearance. The fuel tank is nicely-designed which can carry 16 liters of fuel. However, the kerb weight of the bike is 117 kg. Due to the comfortable seating position, almost two pillions can easily ride on it.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic coil spring oil damped front suspension is used for the front wheel of Keeway RKS 125 and telescopic forks suspension is used for the rear. The suspensions are at a minimum level which needs to upgrade. However, The braking combination of the bike is good where disc and drum both are used. In front disc brake is used as usual and for the rear, drum brake is used. As 125 cc bike, it would be enough to control the machine.

Mileage: One thing is very impressive and convincing about Keeway RKS 125 which is its mileage. Due to the 125 cc sports bike, it’s average mileage is 55 km. But on the highway, it’s mileage will increase to 60 km no doubt. However, most of the standard category bikes in this segment have almost 50 km mileage but this is claimed as a sports bike. So, it’s mileage would be poor. But, Keeway does not want to compromise with the mileage. Their products for all types of people.

Instrument Panel & Features: The Keeway company has used a complete updated instrument console to its product RKS 125 which is consists of analog and digital. The speedometer is digital but the rpm meter is analog. Besides, there are digital trip meter, digital clock, digital fuel gauge included.

Colors & Price: The bike Keeway RKS 125 has come with just two colors. But new colors would be added. The available colors are Red and Silver. However, the price of the bike is reasonable. Its current price is BDT 1,18,500. Though it is a Chinese manufactured company ignoring it would be a wrong decision. Due to better quality, it is still in the market.
