Runner is one of the most reputed Bangladesh motorcycle manufacturing company as well as one of the leading too. They are increasing their products and now their showroom is rich. They have different types of products in their stock with different budget. There are sports, standard, classic and scooter category bikes are there in the showrooms. Besides, they have also 80 cc bikes as well where Runner Duronto is one of the best in the segment analysing the price range.

In Bangladesh there are almost few local bike manufacturing companies are available where Walton and Runner are the best and they are rival as well. Both of them used to import parts from China but the bikes are assembled in Bangladesh which are called Bangladeshi product. Runner Duronto is also the same which is assembled in the country. It is a 80 cc bike and in Bangladesh, there are few same segment bikes are available currently where Honda CD80 is the best. Besides, there are some same segment bikes of Runner are also available but considering the model and price, Runner Duronto is the best. Let’s see it’s complete specification review below.

Design & looks: Runner Duronto is a standard looking small 80 cc bike which has small but standard fuel tank with comfortable seating position. It has standard handlebar but no mud guard or sharee guard. The wheels are spoke instead of alloy. There is also pillion grabrail and almost well designed headlamp. The engine and features are fully naked which is bit odd looking. Overall, from the front, the bike seems alright.

Engine performance: Runner Duronto is powered by 82.9 cc engine displacement though officially it is a 80 cc bike. It consists of one cylinder, air cooled, four stroke and petrol engine which can generate 4.0 kW@7500 rpm max power. The reported top speed of Runner Duronto is 80 kmph. It has no self starting system but only kicker is attached.

Dimensions & seating position: Runner Duronto is a well measured 80 cc bike which is small due to low segment bike. It is 1869 mm long, 835 mm wide and 1180 mm high which has 1170 mm wheelbase. Besides, it’s ground clearance is 170 mm. Fuel tank of the bike Duronto can contain 7.5 litres of fuel which kerb weight is 74.5 kg. Due to small size as well as small seating position, highest one pillion can ride on the bike.

Suspension & Brakes: Runner Duronto is a local brand bike and most of the parts are imported from China. It’s front suspension is telescopic and rear suspension is five steps adjustable shock absorber. It is simply alright but not the best in quality. The quality of them should be very good. Besides, the both brakes of the bike are drum where they should use front disc brake.

Mileage: As a 80 cc bike, Runner Duronto used to provide more than 65 km mileage. On highway the mileage would cross 70 km obviously. But it should be more than current.

Instrument Panel & Features: Front panel of Runner Duronto is fully updated but analog. It has speedometer, fuel gauge, trun lamp and tail lamp added to the panel.

Colors & Price: Runner Duronto is available in Bangladesh with just Red color and the current price is BDT 59,000 taka. Considering the price, it is very cheap and affordable for lower income people.
