Speeder Volex 125 Feature Review
Speeder Motorcycle Bangladesh starts its journey in 2002. They had a segment of ’80cc to 165cc’ bikes. From basic CD deluxe to modern-day street bike/cruiser/scooter, they have all kinds of motorbikes but their bikes are not available like other motorcycle brands. They import their bikes from China.
They basically get the attention of the bikers by launching GPX Gentleman motorcycle in Bangladesh. This one is one of the best cafe racer bike available in Bangladesh. After that, they had introduced Speeder Big Monster 165 which is available with fuel injection system. For the first time, they have also introduced a full-faired sports bike called Speeder GSX 165R. To fullfill the demand of scooter, they launched Volex 125 in the Bangladeshi market.
Design & looks: This scooter looks almost similar to a maxi-scooter. Maxi scooter basically is a touring sports scooter which is suitable for long ride and can provide decent engine performance. The front end of this scooter is almost looks as the Suzuki Burgman Street 125. The headlight is mounted at the middle and two DRLs at the side panels. The front indicators are also mounted under the DRLs. The rear view mirrors looks premium and workable.
Engine performance: Scooters don’t have any gearbox or clutch system. That’s why it takes time to gain speed and also have less acceleration. Speeder Motorcycles Bangladesh doesn’t published the torque of this scooter. It contains of a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, 125cc engine that can produce 8.6BHP of power at 7500rpm.
Dimensions & seating position: Just like the torque, Speeder doesn’t published the dimension of this scooter. The only things we know about the dimension of this scooter are the ground clearance and wheelbase size and they are 120 mm and 1240 mm. Scooters are meant to be comfortable and ergonomic and Speeder Volex 125 is not out of it. Up-right handlebar and well-cushioned seat will provide comfortable ride and excellent control during city ride.
Suspension & Brakes: Though this one is a commuter scooter, that’s why we can’t imagine advanced suspension settings. It gets the convensional telescopic fork suspension in the front and a mono-shock suspension at the rear wheel. The braking power comes from a single disc in the front and a drum brake in the rear wheel. Speeder uses 70-90/14 section tyre in the front wheel and 80-90/14 section tyre in the rear wheel.
Mileage: People always purchase a scooter or a commuter bike to have better mileage and controlling. This Speeder Volex 125 can provide up to 45 km/l average mileage. But the mileage can increase or decrease at highway and city ride.
Instrument Panel & Features: This scooter has all the essential features like other commuter bikes. There are many features are added including a speedometer, tachometer, clock, trip meter, fuel gauge and some others. this bike has a 12V battery which can generate enough light for the Headlamp.
Colors & Price: Speeder Volex 125 has three different color variants, these are Grey, Red and Armada blue. The current market price of this scooter is 124,500 BDT.
