Suzuki Gixxer Monotone Feature Review

Suzuki is considered as one of the two leading motorcycle manufacturer is Japan as well as one of the best manufacturer in the world. Their products are currently available in most of the countries and they are popular every where no doubt. The most important reason behind their huge popularity is the reasonable price. Though, the company is origin of Japan but they have kept their price lower. In Bangladesh, the people stills regards Suzuki as the top brand and they would love to buy their products.

Just couple of years ago, Suzuki released their trump card Gixxer which is a 155 cc bike. According to the cc limit, this is the highest cc bike in Bangladesh which is very stylish. This is a naked edition sports bike which has become popular within very short time. Though, at the first time when it was just released, there were a number of impacts were received from the customers but later, the company updated their technology and the customers started to like the bike. Now, it’s popularity is amazing.

Yamaha FZs and Suzuki Gixxer are also same category bike but considering the advance technology, Suzuki is still a step ahead. However, instead of Yamaha, Gixxer would suit the young generation much and it’s acceleration is also better. By considering the demand of young generations, Suzuki released the monster and they succeeded. Here we present below the full configuration details of Suzuki Gixxer.

Design & looks: The design and outlooks of Suzuki Gixxer is completely new and amazing. It is just the naked edition of Gixxer SF where the kits are not added. Fuel tank is almost same and well shaped which gives a bit aggressive. looks. The seating position is almost sporty though like most of the sports bike, it is not split. It’s alloy wheels and wide tires are completely adjusted. Finally, it’s need to mention that the bike would be chosen at the first sight due to aggressive and sporty looks.

Engine performance: Suzuki is the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in Japan though Suzuki Gixxer used to be assembled in Bangladesh but the engine is made in Japan. So, no doubt the quality of the engine which is comparatively better. Suzuki has used 154.9cc displacement for Gixxer which consists of four-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled single-cylinder where the engine can generate 14.8 Ps @ 8000 rpm max power with 14 Nm @ 6000 rpm max torque. Consists of a five-speed manual gearbox, the bike can run more than 125 km per hour easily without any vibration. However, in latest model of Gixxer which is released 2017, Suzuki followed BS4 engine technology which is more user friendly and there are couple of latest features are added. They have used carburetor fuel system instead of injection technology.

Dimensions & seating position: It seems that Suzuki Gixxer is a bit small bike comparatively though it fills the standard requirement. It is a bit wide and so, looks small in length. The length of the bike is 2050 mm, width is 785 mm and height is 1030 mm. Due to a bit small seating position, only two persons can easily ride on it. It’s ground clearance is a bit lower which is 160 mm. However, fuel tank of the bike can contains 12 litres and the kerb weight of the bike is 135 kg. Due to better design, during top speed, the kits used to cross air nicely and riders would not face any problem.

Suspension & Brakes: Suspensions of the bike is completely same as Gixxer SF where in front portion, telescopic forks is used which is better and for rear wheel, swingarm with mono-shock suspension is used. The suspension is very sporty and due to mono-shock, the bike would steady during top speed. Besides, the braking system is also good which combined with dual disc brakes where 266 mm disc in front and 240 mm disc in rear. Though, disc and drum braking combination of Gixxer is also available.

Mileage: Like most of the sports bikes, Gixxer also provides standard mileage average. According to the different riders opinion, it used to provide more than 45 km mileage average. The mileage is well enough to satisfy any rider.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument console of Suzuki Gixxer is completely digital which consists of orange color display. There are many features are added including speedometer, tachometer, clock, trip meter, fuel gauge and some others.

Colors & Price: Total four major colors of Suzuki Gixxer are available in Bangladesh which are Metallic Triton Blue, Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black and White.
