TVS Stryker 125 Overall Review
A leading motorcycle manufacturing company TVS used to launch their products in Bangladesh through the dealers which is an Indian origin company. After Bajaj, TVS is the largest two-wheelers company in India but considering the popularity, within a very short time, TVS has come to an equal level with Bajaj and achieved almost the same popularity. Like India, in Bangladesh TVS company is doing their business very well with their different products.
TVS Stryker is regarded as one of the top products of TVS in Bangladesh which was launched last February 2016. It is one of the best 125 cc bikes and has become the competitor of Bajaj Discover 125, Hero Glamour 125, and a couple of other bikes.
TVS Stryker 125 is one of the latest model bikes which is yet to be marketed by the company. Excluding India, the model of bike is available in two more different countries named Colombia and Bangladesh. If you need a powerful and stylish bike at a reasonable price along with handsome mileage, then perhaps TVS Stryker 125 would be best for you. Design & looks: TVS Stryker 125 is a decent-looking commuter that is designed by following almost the same frame as TVS Phoenix 125. But, the graphics and body shapes are completely changed by Stryker. However, the rear part of the motorcycle is somewhat blended with Apache RTR. It’s a fuel tank, tank kit and seating position are completely new designed which would be chosen at first sight. Its taillight design is alike with RTR which can be misguided from the rear. Not only the tail lamp but also the headlamp casing is also similar to RTR. So, overall, the looks of the bike are amazing.
Engine performance: The engine of TVS Stryker 125 consists of a 124.53 cc engine with a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke technology. With 11 PS max power and 10.8 Nm max torque, the acceleration of the bike is very good. It can run at more than 100 km per hour top speed. The compression ratio is 9:4:1 and the ignition system is DC – Digital TCI. The bore is 57 mm and the stroke is 48.8 mm. Along with kick start, the electric starter is also added to the motorcycle.
Dimensions & seating position: The dimension of the motorcycle is completely at a standard level. The length of the machine is 1995 mm, the width is 765 mm and the height is 1080 mm. It is completely suitable for different types of riders. The single cradle tubular frame chassis makes the bike amazing. The wheelbase is 1273 mm and 173 mm ground clearance is the perfect measure to avoid speed breaker on road smoothly. Though it is a standard bike the seating position seems smaller which could bear one pillion easily but for two pillions it would be tough. But the seating position is most comfortable.
Suspension & Brakes: The front suspension of TVS Stryker 125 is telescopic which would give enough comfort and for the rear, the latest toggle link with hydraulic damper suspension is used. The suspensions are too well and comparatively better than most same-segment motorcycles. The brakes of the bike are also good which consists of front hydraulic brake and for the rear, drum brake is used.
Mileage: The mileage of Stryker 125 is very good which can provide more than 60 km mileage on city roads and more than 70 km mileage on the highway. But to ensure better mileage, the riders must maintain speed limitations. So, according to the users of Stryker 125, the average mileage of the bike would be 65 km.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of TVS Stryker 125 is made with the complete latest technology which has complete digital speedometer and tachometer. Riding this bike for 1 year and getting good performance. Though mileage was not so good in break in period but right now getting better mileage as well.
