UM Runner Renegade Sport Feature Review
UM (United Motors) is a US-based motorcycle brand company. Recently our domestic brand runner imports some UM Renegade sportbikes. The parts of This bike are manufactured in China and assembled in Bangladesh.
The runner is famous for its high tech motorbikes but at a low price. Recently they launched UM runner Renegade sport 150 bikes into the Bangladesh market. This cruiser bike gets a sporty look and a raw engine power. The young riders will like this bike for its overall look and sporty appeal.
Design & looks: UM runner Renegade sport 150 gets the eye-catching cutting edge design. UM, Renegade sport 150 is a pure cruiser bike introduced by UM motorcycle. The all-new design in the side panels, plastic bits for the rear and the long headlamp cowl appeal to the young generation riders. This cruiser gets slightly taller and wider handlebar for better controlling. Its seating position is low and footpegs are set forward. The seating position is wide enough to the rider for comfortable riding. Though the pillion seat is small it gets a detachable backrest.
Engine performance: This two-wheeler has a 149 cc new generation displacement, four-stroke, Liquid-cooled engine which can deliver 14.5 Bhp @ 9500 rpm maximum power and 12 Nm @ 8000 rpm maximum torque. It can deliver a good acceleration rate and gets a 6-speed synchromesh manual gearbox for better transmission. It can reach the top speed of 110 km/h.
Dimensions & seating position: Seating position is quite comfortable. The handlebar is a little bit high than a sports bike. Renegade sport 150 has a standard height of 1350 mm, width 820 mm, length 2220 mm. The seat height of this bike is 770 mm and 160 mm ground clearance. Alloy wheels are used in this bike and wheel size is 1550 mm. Tubeless tyres are used in both rear and front wheel. Where the front size is 110/80-17 and rear is 140/80-15.
Suspension & Brakes: 41 mm Hydraulic, Telescopic suspension is used for the front end and Twin Hydraulic with spring suspension for the rear. Bone Type chassis is used in this two-wheeler. It will provide a good balance and comfort. Normal disc brakes are used in front-wheel and Drum brake is in the rear. It will provide safety and better control of riding. According to the record, it can get it’s top speed 110 km/h.
Mileage: This version of UM runner Renegade sport 150 has a handsome mileage close to 35 km/L. But it would give more mileage on the highway of 40 km/L. This bike has a fuel injection system. Though it’s not a city bike you can get better efficiency in a long ride.
Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument panel of UM runner Renegade sport 150 is semi-digital. The tachometer, fuel gauge are analog but other features like odometer, trip meter is digital.
