Just few years ago, people of Bangladesh did not want to buy Walton company motorcycle unless they were forced due to financial shortage but within short time, it is changed completely. All credit goes to Walton which has revealed number of models to fulfill the riders demand. They realised the desires of the Bangladeshi peoples and within cheap price range, they revealed some exciting models of bike consists of different attractive features. Among them, Walton Ranger 100 cc motorcycle is one. It just revealed in Bangladesh just one and half year ago and the designer of Walton followed Bajaj Platina to make it. It’s fuel tank and soft comfortable seat are almost alike as Platina and most important fact is, as like Platina, Walton Ranger can provide a long mileage also but the price is comparatively a little less than Platina.

Design & looks: If we consider the Walton bike’s design, it would be one of the best five models made by the company. As an hundred cc bikes which actual displacement is 98.45 cc, it is really a nice looking bike with zero maintenance battery consists of 12V. Besides, it’s kerb weight is also standard level with 108 kg which gives smooth performance in top speed and make the bike with low vibration. Though, it’s net weight is 104 kg but can take maximum 150 kg load which means almost two pillions can easily ride on it.

Engine performance: The engine of Walton Ranger is little updated than regular bike which has one cylinder, four stroke vertical engine consists of 98.45 cc. Engine possesses 7.8 BHP @7500 rpm maximum and highest torque is 7.3 NM @ 6000 rpm. This power is pretty enough for 100 cc engine. The top speed of the bike is almost 80 km per hour where the ignition type is CDI Spark. At the earlier version of Platina, there was no self starter but in Ranger, both kick and self starter are added.

Dimensions & seating position: Length, Width and height of Walton Ranger is (2020*700*1230) mm respectively which is also the standard measure. It causes no back pain to the riders of the bike where the wheelbase is 1280 mm. With 170 ground clearance, most obstacles on the road can easily pass under the bike. However, it’s fuel tank can contains almost same amount as Platina which gives extra advantage in long runs.

Suspension & Brakes: It’s suspensions consists of better feature where the front suspension is telescopic which is alike with others but in rear swing arm suspension is used which gives more comfortable to the riders and pillions as well. However, old version of Platina did not provide disc brake but in Ranger, they provided the disc brake in the front part and drum brake is used for rear.

Mileage: The best things of the bike is mileage which can provide more than 70 km mileage average which could be exceeded 80 km on highway though in city, it usually reduce a little. But with proper maintenance and adjusting fuel line, it can serve riders well.

Instrument Panel & Features: Full function digital speedometer is one of the most attractive feature of this motorcycle along with updated tachometer. Most fuel efficient technology is used with low noise vertical OHC engine, self start system is included where strong and stylish alloy wheel with it. Besides, Halogen headlight with parking light gives riders advantage in night where high performance SNS rear suspension makes the bike almost unbeatable in this segment.

Colors & Price: The price of the bike is little higher than rest Walton motorcycles comparatively which current price is reportedly BDT 99,750. Though, it is almost a new addition of this company so, they just introduced red color of it. But more colors would be added soon.
