Yamaha is one of the top class two wheeler manufacturing company in the world which used to launch different model of motorcycles in Bangladesh. Since the beginning, the demand of Yamaha motorcycles are too heavy in Bangladesh but considering the price, the rest brands bike are almost cheap than Yamaha and so, those who needs a motorcycle, used to fill up their needs by taking rest brands.

However, now in Bangladesh, a number of models of Yamaha motorcycle are available where in the running year, some new models have revealed. Among them, Yamaha Vixion is regarded as the best. It is the first release of Vixion in Bangladesh which is a naked edition sports bike has come to compete rest sports model bikes in the country. Though, it’s price is usually too high to compare with the others.

Design & looks: Vixion is placed on the sports category very well by considering its design. It’s fuel tank is nicely shaped with an extra kit placed on both side of the tank. Besides, it also has well shaped engine guard which is slightly modified than RTR.

Engine performance: This is the water cooled 149.8 cc engine which consists of four stroke, single cylinder and 4 valve SOHC Fuel Injection. It is very powerful engine which is used by the company in every top category sports bike recently. The engine can produce 12.2 kw @ 8500 rpm maximum power by when it’s torque is 14.5 nm @ 7500 rpm. However, upgraded TCI ignition system along with transistorized Control Engine and CR8E (NGK) spark plug make the machine almost unbeatable in this segment.

Dimensions & seating position: Length, width and height of Yamaha Vixion is (1925 * 705 * 1030) mm which is almost sports category approved. With 165 mm ground clearance and 1300 mm wheelbase, no obstacles could hit it’s engine guard. Though, it’s seat is a bit old looks which needs some upgrade by making almost two portions as usual. The seat is almost similar with Suzuki Gixxer. One pillion would ride on it easily but with two pillions, it would be so tough to ride.

Suspension & Brakes: Front suspension of Vixion is telescopic and rear suspension is swing arm. These are almost upgrade quality suspension which gives extra comfortable feelings to the riders. Besides, it’s security is a bit higher which consists of front and rear hydraulic disc braking system.

Mileage: Average mileage of this new product of Yamaha is almost good with 44 km but with good tuning it would increase slightly. Besides, in long run on highway, the bike can provide almost 48 km mileage average.

Instrument Panel & Features: However, Yamaha Vixion is regarded as one of the newly revealed sports motorcycle of Yamaha company which consists of most updated technology in all sector. It’s instrument panel is completely digital with update speedometer and tachometer.

Colors & Price: According to the news, it’s current price is BDT 360,000 and only some selected showrooms have brought this bike in Bangladesh. Total four colors are currently available in market like white, black, red and blue.
