Motorcycle is one of the most popular vehicle in Bangladesh and due to heavy traffic on road, the usage of motorcycles are increasing everyday. Though, there are a number of categories of bikes are available in the country but people has categorised them into two different ways. One is sports bikes which are mainly used by young generations. And this kinds are comparatively higher in price. Second one is standard commuter category bikes which are used by general people. The price range of general commuter within reasonable.

Honda is the reputed motorcycle producing company in the world which has made both types of products. There many products are currently available in many countries including Bangladesh. Besides, due to the most reliable brand, their demand in Bangladesh is very high. They are always using best quality engine into their products and so, their service is very good and satisfying. Now, they are going to launch a new product in Bangladesh which is Honda CB Unicorn 150. Their last product CB Trigger 150 is currently offline due to lower demand. Besides, there another product CB Unicorn 160 is also unavailable in Indian market due to same reason. So, they are now forced to launch new product in the market soon enough and so, they have revised CB Unicorn 160 to 150 and will launch the product in the market of Bangladesh real soon. It would be one of the most efficient 150 cc bike in the segment which is basically a standard commuter category bike. Before the product is available in Bangladesh, we need to know what is inside the bike. So, here we present the specification details of Honda CB Unicorn 150 below.

Design & looks: The design of CB Unicorn 150 is bit old which is a revised version of CB Unicorn 160. Though, older model had the bit aggressive looks but in new model of the machine is looks old. It almost seems as CB Trigger. The fuel tank is newly shaped but standard and seating position is adjusted with it. Black alloy wheels are added to the bike. Nicely placed handlebar would be adjustable to any riders. Besides, the headlamp looks are simple but standard. Though, at the first sight, it would be chosen by the young generation but would be a perfect selection for bit aged people.

Engine performance: Engine power of the bike is very good and satisfying no doubt. The bike consists of 149.1 cc engine displacement. Though, the max power of the bike is reduced but standard which is 13.14 Bhp @ 8500 rpm but torque is good enough with 12.84 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The bike is not for race but would be best for comfort. It’s top speed would be not less than 110 km per hour and weight of this Japanese machine is 146 kg.

Dimensions & seating position: Dimension of the standard machine can satisfy anyone which length, width and height are respectively 2095 mm, 756 mm and 1100 mm. With good dimension always provide great controlling. So, it is very important for riders. The fuel tank can contains 13 litres which would be enough. Besides, it also provides good ground clearance of 179 mm and better wheelbase of 1340 mm. Due to better seating position, at least three people can ride on it.

Suspension & Brakes: Like CB Trigger, Honda has used spring loaded hydraulic mono suspension is used for the upcoming CB Unicorn. Though, it is good for bike but specially for standard commuter category bikes, mono suspension is avoided by most of the renowned company. However, due to rear good quality suspension, the bike would steady during great speed run. Besides, telescopic suspension is used for the front wheel of the bike. Like better suspensions, the combinations of braking system of the machine is also good. The brakes of the bike consists of disc and drum where in front, 240 mm hydraulic disc brake is used and for rear, 130 mm drum brake is used. The combination of disc and drum brake are better for standard commuter.

Mileage: According to the news, the mileage of the bike would be considerable because the bike is yet to be launched and so, there is no specific information about the mileage. But, company has claimed that it would provide more than 50 km mileage average which would be reduced to 45 km on city road.

Instrument Panel & Features: Honda company is trying to give complete classic look to the bike and so, they have included all analog features. THe instrument panel consists of analog speedometer, analog tachometer, trip meter is also analog and analog fuel gauge.

Colors & Price: Red, Black and Silver would be three colors of Honda CB Unicorn 150 which would be reveal at the first time. But later, it would be increased. Though, it is yet to be revealed so actual price of the bike is yet to be known. But the expected price of the classi machine is BDT 1,50,000.
