Keeway RKV 150 2016 Review
Chinese manufacturing two-wheelers are currently available in Bangladesh which is imported by various distributors in the country. Basically, still the value of Chinese products is still very poor in Bangladesh and the resale value is not enough. But day by day, the demand for Chinese products is increasing due to the reasonable price range and minimum quality products. Among the top few Chinese brands in Bangladesh, Keeway is the most demandable as well as a trustworthy company though it is the origin of Hungary. The products of Keeway are comparatively better than the rest of Chinese brands and their service is also good. They have a number of models are available in the market where some of them are 150 ccs. Among their top three products, Keeway RKV 150 is one of the best. At the beginning of the journey of Keeway, the first edition of RKV 150 was released but in the last year 2016, the second version of the product was introduced which is currently available in the market.
Due to the standard category bike, RKV 150 is a fuel-efficient bike which used to provide handsome mileage. However, the looks of the bike are almost the same as RKS 150 but features are little changed. Let’s find out below the details specification of the latest version of Keeway RKV 150.
Design & looks: Keeway RKV 150 2016 model is almost the same as RKS but there are also a few changes noticed. The headlamp of the bike is not so aggressive as RKS but standard. Besides, the fuel tank kits are little changed and there is no engine guard noticed in this version of the bike. The seating position is standard and the fuel tank is muscular but decent. Keeway specially made this bike for all types of people.
Engine performance: Consists of 148 cc engine displacement, Keeway RKV 150 2016 has one cylinder, two-valve with titanium coating four-stroke technology. The 148 cc engine can produce max power 14 Bhp @ 9500 rpm and max torque 12.8 Nm @ 7500 rpm. Besides, a carburetor fuel system is used instead of a Fuel injection. The ignition system of the bike is TLI and SOHC fuel control system. Consists of a five-speed gearbox, RKV 150 can run more than 120 km per hour top speed.
Dimensions & seating position: The dimension of the bike is standard where the length, width, and height of the bike are 2075 mm, 780 mm and 1060 mm respectively. Besides, it has a very good wheelbase of 1320 mm and 180 mm ground clearance. The dry weight of the bike is 133 kg which is enough for the standard bike though if the weight would be a bit higher this will be great. But, due to low weight, it can be handled very good. The seating position is also comfortable where three persons can ride at a time. Besides, the bike can take almost 165 kg maximum load.
Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic forks suspension which is 110 mm is used for the front wheel of RKV 150 and for the rear, telescopic coil spring oil damped suspension is used which is 60 mm. Front suspension is the same as RKS but the rear, the company does not use mono-shock. The suspensions are good and provide better comfort. Besides, the braking system is consisting of disc and drum where in front 230 mm hydraulic disc brake is used and for the rear, 130 mm drum brake is used. For a standard category commuter, this brake should be enough to control the machine.
Mileage: Due to the standard bike, Keeway made the bike for better mileage. The current version of RKV 150 2016 would provide not less than 45 km mileage average. But the mileage would near about 50 km on the highway. Due to better mileage within a reasonable price, it would be a great choice.
Instrument Panel & Features: There are digital speedometer is located in the instrument panel of RKV 150 along with tachometer, low fuel indicator, clock, low oil indicator. Besides, there are also trun lamp is noticed along with the pillion grabrail.
Colors & Price: Red and White are just the two available colors of Keeway RKV 150 2016 in the market of Bangladesh. And the current price is BDT 1,39,900.
