Keeway RKR 165 Feature Review
Keeway is a Hungarian brand and at the beginning, it used to produce two-wheelers. Later, it was shifted to China and now, the company is regarded as a reputed Chinese brand two-wheeler manufacturer in the World. They used to release bikes in different countries in the World along with Bangladesh as the Indian subcontinent. They have plenty of bikes are currently available in Bangladesh where some of them are top-rated and also demanded. Though, they are Chinese brand’s products but more reliable than most of the available Chinese brands in the country.
Keeway has a number of 150 cc, 125cc, and 100 cc standard bikes are available in the market and though they are standard category products but can compete with a naked sports bike considering their looks. But still, they are behind sports segmented bikes in Bangladesh where most of the company is familiar due to top-rated sports bikes.
So, now they have finally launched a 165 cc sports bike in Bangladesh which will be imported by Aftab motors. Navana Group is a Bangladeshi motorcycle importer which used to import bikes from the brand of Keeway and Benelli. Their head office is in Dhaka. And now they have turned their attention to the Keeway RKR 165 which will be the very first sports bike of Keeway in Bangladesh. Design & looks: Keeway RKR 165 is the most attractive looking sports bike in the 165 cc segment. From the side, it can be mistaken as Yamaha R15 V2.0. It is full faired sports bike with stylish twin halogen headlight just like Race GSR125. However, the front end is wide and also sharp looking with a sporty handlebar and seating position. The silencer pipe seems a naked but fully unique design. Overall, it would be one of the most attractive looking bikes in Bangladesh.
Engine performance: The engine of the bike is very powerful and reliable. Keeway RKR 150 is powered by a 150 cc engine that can generate 17.83 Bhp max power in top rpm. The engine is four-stroke, single-cylinder and water-cooled which also four valves added. It has an electric starting system added. Consists of the six-speed gearbox, the bike can make 130 mph top speed easily.
Dimensions & seating position: Keeway RKR 165 is an upcoming top-rated sports bike and so, it’s full dimension yet to be known. But it would fit all types of riders no doubt. The seat height of the bike is 770 mm. And it’s kerb weight is 153 kg. It seems it is completely perfect for easy handling. The seat is very sporty which is as usual split. Due to the split seating position, just one pillion can be carried with the rider. But due to a comfortable rear seat, the rides will give proper comfort.
Suspension & Brakes: Keeway RKR 165 has very good suspensions are added. They secure proper comfort to the rider and pillion. In front, the suspension is telescopic and rear suspension is mono-shock. Both are very good in quality. However, the bike would come with Combined Braking System which is simply known as CBS. It has front 260 mm hydraulic disc and rear 220 mm hydraulic disc brakes attached.
Mileage: Keeway RKR 165 is released in Bangladesh recently in February 2019. But till then we can not confirm its mileage. But considering the report, it’s mileage would not less than 40 km average as it has a fuel injection system.
Instrument Panel & Features: The front panel of the bike Keeway RKR 165 consists of is much similar to RKS 150. It consists of both analog and digital meters. The speedometer is included with odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, and digital gear display. Besides, the front panel consists of rpm meter as well. It has also an LED tail lamps and LED indicator light.
Colors & Price: Keeway RKR 165 is available in Bangladesh with three different colors. They are Red, White and combined colors. The price of the bike is recently announced by Aftab Motors in their launching program at Cox’s bazar which is 215,000/-.
