Hyosung Motors is a Korean company that is very popular two-wheeler manufacturer there. They now exported their product in different countries where Bangladeshi Race brand has started to import their product. So, they have jointly started to sell their product in Bangladesh. Among their top products, Race Hyosung GTR 125 is one of the best which is assembled in China. However, Korean Hyosung Motors has originated from Japanese brand Suzuki. Hyosung Motors has released a number of bikes under the GT series and whole GT series bikes are made of sports category. GTR 125 is also a full faired sports bike which is considered one of the fastest 125cc sports bike.

Design & looks: Hyosung GTR 125 is a great stylish bike in Bangladesh and considering the looks, it can compete for almost all bikes in the country. With the most stylish fuel tank and full faired stylish kit along with the engine, a guard is so beautiful and attractive. Besides, the split seating position where the rear seat is a bit higher which gives extra aggressive looks. The tyres are completely suitable and wider than any bikes in Bangladesh which would grip the surface well. Besides, the stylish black color alloy wheels are so nice. Finally, a double headlamp makes the bike complete gorgeous looks.

Engine performance: The engine of Race Hyosung GTR 125 is very powerful which has liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder, DOHC, 8 valve engine which consists if 125cc displacement. Besides, the max power of the bike is 14.63 Bhp @ 10500 rpm and max torque is 10.20 Nm @ 9750 rpm. The torque of the bike is too good and which why being 125cc displacement, it can cross 130km per hour reportedly. Instead of fuel injection, a carburetor fuel system is added to the bike. Dimensions & seating position: The bike is comparatively bigger than most of the sports bikes it seems. Its length is 2090 mm, width is 1130 mm and height is 700 mm which is pretty lower. However, the kerb weight of the bike is 182 kg which is heavier where most of the sports bikes are limited to 130 to 140 kg and standard commuter bike’s weight is almost 150 kg. But, considering the dimension and body shape of this machine, it looks alright. The bike has the widest tyres which are 110/70 – 17 for front and 150/70 – 17 for the rear and so, it is a balanced bike. The seating position is completely comfortable and due to the sports category bike, only one pillion can ride on it.

Suspension & Brakes: Upside down Telescopic suspension is used for the front wheel of GTR 125 and for the rear wheel, swingarm with hydraulic mono shock absorber suspension is used. The suspensions are good enough to take the load of the riders and pillion and provide better comfort. 300 mm disc with two pistons caliper brake is used for the front wheel which is comparatively bigger disc than any sports bike in Bangladesh and 230 mm single disc with two pistons caliper is used for the rear. Due to the better dual disc braking system, it controls is very good.

Mileage: Mileage of the bike is comparatively lower which would give almost 35 km mileage on city road and almost 45 km mileage on the highway. But, considering both, the average mileage would not more than 40 km.

Instrument Panel & Features: excluding analog tachometer, rest features of the bike are completely digital. Where digital speedometer, trip meter, digital clock, and digital fuel gauge are included. The battery is completely maintenance-free.
