Yamaha launched its FI and ABS bike FZs V3 in 2019. The previous year the demand for this motorcycle was huge. The Indian brand Bajaj launched its Pulsar NS 160 FI ABS at the end of 2019. But they didn’t get enough response to the price rate. But the new edition of Suzuki Gixxer 155 is launched with some attractive features and color variations officially in Bangladesh. But some importers are already started to import this bike in Bangladesh. So, let’s see the comparison and contrast between these three motorcycles.

Design and Appearance
There are lots of competitions in the naked sports segment in Bangladesh. Every motorcycle companies try to add advanced and helpful features in their motorcycles, but mostly the design and looks matters the most. For that brands always give concern to their design. These three naked sports motorcycles got the touch of their previous versions.
Yamaha FZs is the most selling motorcycle series of this brand and FZs V3 regarded as the best standard commuter motorcycle in the 150cc segment. This motorcycle is clearly recognized for its sculpted large fuel tank and dual-part LED headlight unit. The fuel tank contains 12.8 liters of fuel and two air-scoops. These air-scoops are helpful to cooling the engine. Its new tyre hugger and new exhaust muffler give it a sportier look. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 is one of the top-rated naked sports motorcycles to the young generations because of its eye-catchy design and wolf-eye headlight unit. The fuel tank remains big and sculpted. It contains 12 liters of fuel and 2.4 liters of reserve fuel capacity. The front extension kit holding the 160 logos. The split seat and stylish pillion grabrail make it look sporty. There is also an engine cowl available that gets the matching color with the fuel tank. Recently Bajaj launched a new and refreshed edition of Pulsar NS 160 in the market and the color variations are just gorgeous. On the other hand, Rankon Motorbikes Ltd the sole distributor of Suzuki in Bangladesh introduced the new Suzuki Gixxer 155 with some attractive color variations. The design of this motorcycle is completely different than its older version and looks sportier.
Engine Performance
Engine performance is the most essential part of a naked sports motorcycle. Yamaha FZs V3 is inspired by its advanced blue core engine technology. This naked sports bike has a 149cc displacement air-cooled engine which can deliver 13.2 PS @ 8000 rpm maximum power and 12.8 Nm @ 6000 rpm maximum torque. This motorcycle has an excellent mid-range power delivery but the top speed and the acceleration are not satisfying. Suzuki Gixxer is one of the popular naked sports bike for its excellent acceleration and top speed. Basically, the young generation riders have a crush on this bike. This new version equipped with 0.7 bhp less power than the previous version. But the other engine features remain the same. It decorated with Single Cylinder, 4-Stroke, 2 Valves, SOHC, 154.9 cc engine which can churn out 14.1 PS maximum power at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm torque at 6000 rpm. This new engine gets BS6 approved. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 gets a fuel injection system which is a great feature for modern-day motorcycles. It’s equipped with a Single Cylinder, 4-Stroke, 4-Valve, SOHC, DTS-i, 160.3cc displacement engine that can burn out 15.28 bhp maximum power at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.
If we compare the engine performance then Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 will be definitely ahead of Yamaha FZs V3 and Suzuki Gixxer 155. But the new Gixxer 155 has the best acceleration rate than others.
Braking and Controlling
Yamaha FZs V3 is mostly known as one of the pioneers of ABS motorcycles in Bangladesh in the 150cc segment. This bike also has the best controlling system because of the up-raised handlebar and comfortable seating position. The braking performance is powered by a 282 mm disc in front and a 220 mm disc brake in the rear wheel with a single-channel ABS braking system in the front wheel. Yamaha also used the world-famous Baybre caliper for better performance. Suzuki Gixxer and Pulsar NS 160 also get single-channel ABS and dual disc brake but no one is similar to FZs v3.
Yamaha FZs V3 and Suzuki Gixxer have 140/60 section wider rear tyre. Wider tyres are helpful to better control and also prevent skidding.
