Benelli TNT 150 Vs Suzuki Gixxer: Comparison review

Suzuki is a most reputed two wheeler brand in Bangladesh which used to launch different types of products in Bangladesh since long. People can trust the company due to their previous service in the country. Suzuki is regarded as one of the top four motorcycle brand which is originated in Japan. Earlier, they have plenty of 100 or 110 cc products available but now, the decade has changed a lot. People used to want stylish looking sports bike now and so, to fill up their demand, they have launched Suzuki Gixxer 155 cc bike couple of years ago. However, the design of the bike used to change in every year and now, the latest version of Suzuki Gixxer 155 is available in Bangladesh. The bike can be compared with different same segment bikes right now. Today we would like to compare it with an Italian brand product named Benelli TNT 150. Benelli is an Italian origin brand but the bike TNT 150 is assembled in China. So, it often regarded as Chinese bike so far. Generally Chinese assembled bike can not be compared with Japanese bikes but they are available in almost same price range in the country. So, let’s check the details comparison review between Benelli TNT 150 and Suzuki Gixxer below.

# Looks: First impression of a bike is it’s looks. Suzuki Gixxer 155 has extraordinary looks. It has fully unique and muscular fuel tank with aggressive extended kit. The seat is very user friendly and comfortable. It has sharp looking headlamp along with twin exhaust added. The engine is fully naked but it seems that the bike is fully decorated. It has stylish alloy wheels with wide rear tyre. On the other side, Benelli TNT is almost alike with Goodwheel Avatar or Race Riero. It has also stylish fuel tank with high and splitted seating position. It can be considered as good looking naked sports bike no doubt. But to me, the product of Suzuki is much more stylish than Benelli TNT.

# Engine Performance: Suzuki Gixxer is a Japanese bike and so, it usually possesses more powerful engine than Benelli TNT. Consists of four stroke one cylinder and BS4 engine it has air cooling system. The engine is 154.9 cc which can unleash 14.6 Bhp max power and 14 NM max torque. It has five speed gearbox with multi plate clutch plate. Now, look to the Italian product Benelli. The bike TNT has 148 cc engine which is also four stroke and two valve. The engine can create 14 Bhp max power and 13.4 NM max torque. The max power and torque are little bit less than Suzuki Gixxer. However, the bike also possesses five speed gearbox with wet multi plate clutch. It seems that Japanese engine is always more and more reliable than any products.

# Suspension & Brake: Due to Japanese brand, the product of Suzuki has very high quality suspensions added. The front suspension of Gixxer is telescopic and rear suspension is mono which is swing arm. On the other side, Chinese assembled bike TNT has also front telescopic suspension added an rear suspension is monoshock. Besides, the bike has good braking combination used. It has front disc brake and rear drum brake added. But to the bike Suzuki Gixxer, it is available in different braking versions. In one category, there is disc and drum brake added and in the other version of the bike, there are both disc brake added in front and rear. So, now it will depend on the rider. For expert riders, dual disc would be a great choice but disc and drum brake combination is also good no doubt.

# Comfort & Control: Suzuki Gixxer has also double disc  brake version available along with disc/ drum braking combination. Generally the price tags are different in two versions no doubt. But it would provide great controlling obviously. The bike Suzuki Gixxer is available in market since couple of years and still no one made a complaint about the braking system. However, the bike Benelli TNT is a newborn product and it has no much users right now. But hopefully we will learn more about it’s controlling soon. Besides, the bike Gixxer has single plate seat which is suitable for female pillion but TNT has splitted seat where the rear seat is much higher. So, female pillion would face problem a bit.

# Fuel Consumption: Sports bike are naturally provides a bit low mileage than standard category bikes. In that case, due to BS4 engine Suzuki Gixxer is providing good mileage than Benelli TNT. People often complain about the mileage of Chinese bikes. In that case, Benelli TNT 150 would remain same. Average mileage of the bike would not much but as new, it would give almost 40 km mileage so far. But the bike Suzuki Gixxer would provide more than 45 km average mileage. So, considering the mileage Gixxer would be a better choice.

# Top Speed: Due to very powerful and reliable Japanese engine, Suzuki Gixxer would provide greater top speed than Italian Benelli TNT. Reportedly the naked edition Suzuki Gixxer would run with more than 130 kmph top speed where Benelli TNT 150 would not make more than 120 kmph top speed reportedly. So, speed lovers would go for Gixxer no doubt.

# Price: Specially for the price the bikes can be compared. At the beginning the price of Suzuki Gixxer was higher than expected. But right now, the price range is reduced and has come to the limit. The current price of the bike Suzuki Gixxer is BDT 2,09,950 only. In that case Chinese assembled bike Benelli TNT is available with a bit less price. The current price of the bike is BDT 1,79,900 only.

Basically the bike Benelli TNT 150 can not be compared with Suzuki Gixxer. In every cases Gixxer is better than the bike Benelli TNT. In the price range Suzuki Gixxer 155 would be very good choice. But considering the segment and price range, now Gixxer has a competitor named Benelli TNT. But it seems that people would not go for a Chinese assembled bike where they have a better choice here.
