Bangladesh Honda Private Ltd recently launched the updated version of CB Hornet with the name CB Hornet Deluxe ABS. They had also launched XBlade 160 at the end of the last year. These two motorcycles build at the same frame and technology. Though they have the same technology but there is a difference between price range.
Honda launched CB Hornet in Bangladesh in early 2018. From then on, this bike is one of the top competitor in the 160cc segment. But recently they launched the updated version of this bike. The new version CB Hornet Deluxe comes with a single-channel ABS and some advanced features. On the other hand, XBlade 160 was introduced at the end of the last year. Though the engine capacity is the same as Hornet but it gets different touch in design and features. Here we will try to show you the differences between these two motorcycles.

Here we can see some similarities and differences between these two models. Now we will compare and discuss these differences and similarities.
Design and Looks:
Though these two bikes build on the same platform but get a different appearance and design. Both bikes carrying their own identical looks. The new Deluxe edition of CB Hornet gets some additional graphics change but the basic design is the same. Only the side panels and fuel tank gets some new attractive graphics. On the other hand, XBlade 160 comes with a sharp, muscular and edgy design. Its robotic face headlamp gives it a great appearance in the 160cc segment. XBlade looks more compact than the Hornet. The fuel tank, side panels, front fender gets matte and glossy both paint scheme. The exhaust also comes with a different shape and chrome finishing.
Though CB Hornet and XBlade made with the same Diamond frame but with a different appearance. Hornet remains bulkier and XBlade looks sharp and edgy.
Engine and Performance:
Honda used the same single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve, HET 162.71cc engine in both motorcycles. These bikes also come with the same bore and stroke ratio as well as the same 10:1 compression ratio. But there is a twist in their engine performance. Though the engine and engine capacity are the same but both bikes are tuned differently. Honda XBlade can chur out 13.93 bhp maximum power at 8500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm, where Hornet can 15.04 bhp maximum power at 8500 rpm and 14.76 Nm torque 6500 rpm.
Braking and Suspension:
In this category, XBlade will far behind than CB Hornet. The new version of CB Hornet is launched with a single-channel ABS. Though this bike’s Dual disc with CBS braking version is also available in the market. But XBlade only offering single disc brake and drum brake in the rear. This bike doesn’t have any CBS or ABS braking system. Suspension setting remains the same in both bikes.
Features and Electrics:
The previous version of CB Hornet was lack of advanced features and gadgets, but the new version gets some attractive and advanced features. Honda makes different characteristics in these two bikes. XBlade gets the same dashboard as CBR 150R (Indo). Here are features of both bikes,

Wheel Set-Up:
There is a huge difference in the wheelset of these two bikes. CB Hornet Deluxe comes with paired ten-spoke alloy rims with 80/100-17 section in front and 130/70-17 section tubeless tyre in the rear wheel. Where XBlade 160 gets five-spoke alloy rims with 100/80-17 section in the front and 140/70-17 section tubeless tyre in the rear wheel.
