Race is the newest Bangladeshi two wheelers brand which has recently made agreement with Korean Hyosung company and jointly launched different products in Bangladeshi market within reasonable price range. The products of of them are made by China but in that case, the quality of their products are comparatively better. Recently they have released number of exclusive products in Bangladesh and hopefully within very short time, the products will be very popular. Among their top products, Race Hyosung 125 is one of the best and it is basically a naked edition sports quality motorcycle.

Design & looks: The design of the bike GT 125 is completely amazing but seems naked. Excluding fairings, it would be much lighter. However, it’s fuel tank is stylish but bigger and there are splitted seating position which is heavy comfortable. But the most depressing matter is that the lower portion of the bike is completely naked where there are no engine guard and nothing is added ther. So, that is not compatible with any sports quality bikes. Besides, there is no fuel tank kit is available where most of the naked edition bikes are included with that. But, it does not affects the looks of the bike most. It seems that excluding those features, the bike has also standard looks.

Engine performance: The engine quality of GT 125 is very good and powerful. The same engine technology and power is used for the bike as GTR 125. The engine is 125 cc which consists of liquid cooling system included and eight valve and V – twin cylinder are the most attractive features. Besides, carburetor fuel system is added along with DOHC. Max power of the bike is 14.63 Bhp @ 10500 rpm and max torque is 10.20 Nm @ 9750 rpm. Wet type multi – plate clutch plate and five speed constant mesh gearbox lead the bike to more than 120 km per hour top speed no doubt.

Dimensions & seating position: Excluding fairings the bike GT 125 is seems a bit smaller where the length of the Korean machine is 2090 mm, width is 1120 mm and height is 780 mm. However, seat height of the bike is 830 which is bit higher but suitable. Ground clearance of the bike is also good. Though, it is a sports quality monster but ground clearance is 175 mm. Due to the naked edition, it’s kerb weight is 167 kg. Tyres of the bike is pretty wider which are very capable to keep balance. Due to this wide tyres, the balance of the bike is increasing heavily. Seating position is very good and comfortable of GT 125 where the seat is divided and can carry total two persons easily including rider.

Suspension & Brakes: Telescopic USD suspension is used for the front wheel of the bike where for rear mono shock suspension is used. The suspension is heavy which used to provide comfort to the riders and pillion. Besides, the bike is consisting of double hydraulic disc brake which are comparatively bigger than most of the bikes. The front disc of the bike is 300 mm which is single disc with two pistons caliper and rear disc is also sigle which is 230 mm with two pistons caliper. The brakes are good and capable to control the bike in any hard situations.

Mileage: Mileage of the bike is not so better but considering the features of the bike, it can be tolerable. The average mileage of the beast would be 45 km but it would be increased on highway.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument console of GT 125 is fully updated where digital clock and digital gear display are also included. Besides, there are as usual digital speedometer, tachometer, low fuel indicators, trun lamp and some other features are added.
