More Details Pulsar 160 NS Full Specification Gixxer Full Specification

# Looks: Pulsar NS and Suzuki Gixxer both are very attractive looking naked sports bikes in Bangladesh. Due to wide rear end, most of the young generation used to like Suzuki Gixxer Much. But for sporty seating position, Pulsar NS is much appreciated to them. Pulsar NS is a naked edition of Pulsar AS 150. It has same design fuel tank but the kit was reduced. It has sporty seat which is splitted and attractive headlamp. On the other hand, Gixxer mostly compared with Yamaha FZs. It has muscular fuel tank with extended kit. The seat is single plate but rear end is a little higher. Headhamp is also stylish but considered as decent. Overall, considering the looks some people would go for NS and some would go for Gixxer no doubt.

# Engine Performance: Now, comparing Indian engine with Japanese engine we must keep ahead Japanese engine. They are much more reliable and will provide better service to the customers. Due to be a Japanese brand, Suzuki Gixxer possesses Japanese engine that makes it more reliable. On the other hand, Indian brand is highly recommended in Bangladesh no doubt and Bajaj is the biggest bike manufacturer in India. So, in Pulsar NS, there is very reliable engine added. Gixxer consists of 155 cc engine that can create 14.6 Bhp max power and 14 NM max torque. The engine is four stroke and air cooled which is also BS4 approved. On the other side, Pulsar NS is an Indian product which is a 160 cc bike. It’s max power is 15.5 PS and max torque is 14.6 Nm. It has oil cooled and DTSi engine with four valve.

# Suspension & Brake: Suzuki Gixxer has very reliable and upgraded category suspensions installed into the bike. It has front telescopic suspension and rear swing arm which is mono suspension added. The suspensions ensures better comfort to the rider and pillion. On the other side, Pulsar NS also has front telescopic suspension added which is also anti friction bush and rear suspension is nitrox mono. One thing is common about this two bikes. Both have front disc brake but rear drum brake installed. But Suzuki is still one step ahead of Bajaj in that case. They have also launched two disc brake version along with drum brake. Obviously the price of rear disc brake version is a little higher than single disc brake version. But due to dual disc, the bike Suzuki Gixxer seems much secure to use.

# Comfort & Control: Suzuki Gixxer considerable most comfortable bike than Pulsar NS currently. It has single plate and thick seating position. So, female pillion can ride on the bike freely. On the other side, Pulsar NS has splitted seat and rear seat is much higher and that is not suitable for female pillion. However, controlling of Pulsar NS is very good. It has front disc and rear drum brake. Disc and drum braking combination is very good on the road of Bangladesh. But however, in Suzuki Gixxer there are front and rear disc brake version available which controlling is much better than Pulsar NS. Pretty amateur riders would control the bike easily due to two disc brake. Besides, the front disc of Gixxer is bigger than Pulsar NS which makes it more reliable and secured.

# Fuel Consumption: Mileage is one of the most important fact of bikes and in the circumstances of the country, high mileage is much appreciated. In that case Suzuki Gixxer is one step ahead of Pulsar NS. Pulsar 160 NS is an updated bike but company failed to make it more fuel efficient one. It is usually provides almost 40 km mileage average. But, due to BS4 engine Suzuki Gixxer used to provide almost 45 km average mileage. So, mileage lovers would go for Gixxer though there are only a little differences between Pulsar NS and Suzuki Gixxer.

# Top Speed: Now, here comes the young generation’s most desire feature which is top speed. Pulsar NS is 160 cc bike and Suzuki Gixxer is 155 cc bike. Both are considered as the same segmented sports bike. And top speed of the both bikes are almost same. Suzuki Gixxer has launched in Bangladesh couple of years ago. So, it is a proved bike. It usually provide almost 130 kmph top speed. But as a newbie bike Pulsar NS 160 provides almost same 130 kmph top speed reportedly.

# Price: Suzuki is a Japanese brand and so, their products price would be higher than Indian bikes generally. So, Suzuki Gixxer is available in Bangladesh in exchange for BDT 2,09,950. It mostly depends on the versions actually. On the other side, Pulsar 160 NS is available in Bangladesh in exchange for BDt 1,99,500 only.

Now, as stated by the above statistics and discussion, we can keep ahead Suzuki Gixxer considering most of the features and reliability. But it also seems that Pulsar NS is a very good sports bike in the segment and the price differences between two bikes are a very little. So, now the choice is yours.
